What We Believe
  1. THE HOLY SCRIPTURES - We believe that the Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is verbally inspired by the Holy Spirit, is inerrant in the original manuscripts, and is the infallible and authoritative Word of God (2 Tim. 3:16,17; 2 Pet. 1:20, 21).

  2. THE GODHEAD - We believe that the one, triune God exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. They are co-eternal, in being, power, and glory, and have the same attributes and perfections (Deut. 6:4; 2 Cor. 13:14).

  3. THE SIN NATURE OF MAN - We believe that Adam, created in the image of God, was tempted by Satan, and fell. Because of Adam's sin, all men inherit a sinful nature, are totally depraved, and need to be regenerated by the Holy Spirit for salvation (Rom. 3:19-23; Eph. 2:1-3).

  4. THE PERSON AND WORK OF JESUS CHRIST - We believe that Jesus Christ is God who became man, without ceasing to be God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. He died vicariously, shedding His blood as man's substitutionary sacrifice, arose bodily on the third day, and ascended to heaven, where He is presently exalted at the Father's right hand (Isa. 7:14; John 1:1,2,14; Romans 3:24- 25).

  5. SALVATION - We believe that salvation consists of the remission of sins and the imputation of Christ's righteousness, and is the sovereign and gracious gift of eternal life received by the instrument of faith alone, apart from works (Acts 4:12; Eph. 1: 3-14; 2:8- 10; 1 Pet. 1: 18-19).

  6. THE HOLY SPIRIT - We believe that the Holy Spirit is the supernatural agent of salvation, who baptizes all believers into the Body of Christ, indwelling and sealing them unto the day of redemption. He bestows spiritual gifts at the time of salvation for the purpose of building up the other believers (Rom. 8:9; Eph. 1: 13-14; 1 Cor.12:7).

  7. THE ETERNAL SECURITY OF BELIEVERS - We believe that all the redeemed, once saved, are kept by God's power and are thus secure in Christ forever (Jn. 6:37-40; 10:27-30; Rom.8:1, 38-39, 1 Cor. 1:4-8; 1 Pet. 1:5)

  8. THE CHURCH - We believe that the church, the body of Christ, consists of all those who are born again and have been baptized into Christ at the moment of conversion. (1 Cor. 12:12-13; Phil. 1:6).

  9. TWO ORDINANCES - We believe that the two ordinances of the church are baptism and the Lord's Table. Baptism is normally by immersion, and is an issue of obedience, as well as a sign of identification with Christ and His Church. The Lord's Table is the celebration of His death until He comes back (Matt. 28:18-19; 1 Cor. 11:23).

  10. THE IMMINENT RETURN OF CHRIST - We believe that the return of Jesus Christ is imminent. He will meet His church in the air and "so shall we ever be with the Lord" to establish His Millennial Kingdom (1 Thess. 1:10; 4:13-18; 5:9; Zech. 14:4-11; Rev.3:10; 19:11-16; 20:1-6).

  11. THE ETERNAL STATE - We believe in the bodily resurrection of all men, the saved to eternal life, and the unsaved to judgment and everlasting punishment (Mt. 25:46; Jn. 5:28-29; 11:25-26; Rev.20:5, 6, 12, & 13). We believe that the souls of the redeemed go to be with the Lord, where in conscious bliss they await the first resurrection, when spirit, soul and body are reunited to be glorified forever with the Lord. (Lk. 23:43; Rev. 20:4-6; 2 Cor.5:8; Phil.1:23; 3:21; 1 Thess. 4:16-17) We believe that the souls of unbelievers remain, after death, in conscious misery until the second resurrection, when with soul and body united they shall appear at the Great White Throne Judgment and shall be cast into the Lake of Fire, not to be annihilated, but to suffer everlasting conscious punishment. (Lk. 16:19-26; Mt.25:41-46; 2 Thess.1:7-9; Jude 6,7; Mk. 9:43-48; Rev. 20:11-15)
